Amazing ancient Bog oak in its truly magnificent natural form.
Wherever you look you can but see the ancient history of the piece. Did the Druids make sacrifices from the tree, did the Romans make camp under its branches?
Its age could be from 500-5000 years old,
It was dug from a field in North Wales and Left to dry over the last 10 years. I then cleaned it top to bottom revealing this stunning map of history.
Mounted to a solid piece of hardwood I then oiled it using a top quality oil to retain its deep black.

Bog oak is becoming such a rare thing due to the process and time needed to create the Blackening and wrinkles and the fact the ground (bogs ) just do not exist anymore.
So you not only would own a piece of history, it is a rare piece of history soon to be seen no where.
